Do you mean get them shipped if so what’s better getting them shipped or getting them from a store

Well, if you are ready now - meaning you have a brooder ready and coop/run ready - if the feed store like TSC has them, then go for that.

If you're not ready now - when you are, feed stores may not have chicks, so you would need to order them from a hatchery and have them delivered.

"Better" is what fits your needs. For example, if you can't have roosters and don't want to deal with what to do if you have one, starting with older birds might work better for you, or if you want to get to laying faster, older birds will get you there. If you want to have the chickens more as pets and are hoping to have them be friendlier or easier to handle, get chicks. On the downside chicks are a little more work and you do need to provide heat for them.
