What’s the best place to get chicks?

I live in Florida, around Vero Beach, and I cannot find any good breeders, I really want show chickens. I don’t want to use my local chicken carrier, they are always sick! I want a breeder, but if not, is Murray Mcurray hatchery good?

What breed are you wanting? Cackle has very good birds and I'd recommend them if you go with a hatchery. @simonerol might be able to help you find breeders

Cackle is okay, but one of my buff silkies from there had a blue/black feather on her leg. Out of 6 chickens from Cackle only 1 pullet was a "fair-winner". So if you are going for show I would advise you to choose another place.

It's just free because it's factored into the price of the chicks. I personally did not have good luck with them but I know crap happens.
The person I tagged is in Florida and raises several nice breeds and may know some breeders near you if she doesn't have what you want.
