What’s the name of your coop?

My most favorite band growing up was the Indigo Girls, and a LOT of my first birds are some dilution gene resulting in blues and lavenders! So I thought The Indigo Chicks was quite fitting

We also have both green and purple Omlet coops that remind me of IKEA so they are the IKEA coops. And then we have the teenage/chick grow out coop we dubbed The Daycare Coop.

I loooove the Indigo Girls!!

At my place, the hens spend their days in The Funrun

And their nights in the super-secure big coop.

The "triplex" coop we built outback is known (to myself only and now y'all) as Mayham Manor.

In loving memory of my dear dog friend Daisy May. (ham digger) she liked to dig up mayhem.. and you KNOW the chickens do too!

Some of our nests have names too, such as A B or C....But the double sized one gets called The Royal Suite

Oh I love that. Our nest boxes are in the roof of the coop so we call it the egg attic.
