What a day...What a week...How was yours? Vent here and feel the love!

I was bitten by a Shepherd when i was a kid. Had to have stitches. Very scary. But husband had a Shepherd when we met. Bought another when we lived in TN, and got this girl before we left FL. What a great dog! All potty trained, crate trained, leash and show trained when we got her. She is good with the cats and small dogs, though a bit nosy and in their faces. Also good with the chicks, chickens and guineas, as well as wild life. She started to chase a deer , i told her no and she came right back. Her bark is intimidating, and when her hackles are up no one would consider messing with her. But she really is a soft baby. Perfect!

I grew up with them...they are so protective and sweet and smart! I'm sorry that happened to you. I was bitten by a Saint Bernard as a child...to this day I believe animals are victims of the human that owns them and makes them what they are. Not everyone agrees with me...but it is our responsibility to teach them right from wrong. I'm happy to hear that your sweet girl has shown you what a joy they can be! Our Tomo only barks when danger is near...his bark is ferocious and he means it when he does it. He always looks to us to take his queue...if we tell him it's Ok...then he stops and waits for his next queue. I just love my animals...they are just such pure souls!
