What about My quails when I go out of town?🤯

Hi I’m new to the this site and hoping to learn from everyone - I am in Miami FL recently bought my home and planing on raising quail for eggs only - I bought a chicken coop with a long run for my future quail amongst other items - my question is what do you all do when you travel and have to leave town for a few days or Even a week. If proper food and water arrangements are made can they be unattended ? Do I need a sitter absolutely ? Any ideas?

Hello and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.
It is too risky to leave a flock of birds unattended for that length of time. You should hire someone responsible to look after them in your absence.

The longest I leave my flock unattended is one night. Anything longer than that, I either find someone to check on them every day or I just don't go.
