What about the sex of Brahma and Polish?

Thanks for your reply. It is rare to find backyard chickens for sale in our country, so I would like to take this chance.
Could you please explain how you came to the conclusion that it was a hen?

No significant wattles or combs to speak of in any of the birds, no red/pink tones in what little combs they have, and the crested one has a neat and even little crest when males of crested breeds have messy punk-rocker looking crests.

My gut feeling is that the orange-ish Brahma is a cockerel. I wouldn’t purchase him. They can be quite slow to mature and unless you’re okay with getting a cockerel too, I wouldn’t waste my time or money. I’ve raised many Brahmas and their speed of development can vary a lot

The middle one in the video is male. He has the male-specific rust coloring coming in on his shoulders and back.

It's already difficult to tell the sex of a Silky, but this one seems to be a cross between a Polish and a Silky. I think it's a female. I'll go to the store tomorrow to check it out.

Update: I'm planning on buying a grey Brahma next week. Hoping for a female.
