What age can ducklings stay outside 24/7

Congrats on graduating your ducks. I placed my last batch of ducks (consisting of Rouens and Pekin) out at 3 weeks. Boy they can make a mess. But love to watch em.

Mine moved out at 3 weeks too - around the beginning of May - no heat lamps or anything and they did just fine. I did use straw in their pen though so they could snuggle down if they needed to.

I can completely relate to the making mess part, my 16 Khaki Campbells would trash their brooder in no time. The good part is that you have yours' out of the house so you don't have to deal with the mess/smell there. The down side is they are still going to make a mess and it gets bigger as they do. They are a lot of fun to watch grow though. Good luck.

love my ducks peking and rouens 12 of them cleaning everyday what a mess big time ..thought chicks were bad no way near.cant wait for warmer weather to be outside ...
