What age do roosters start to crow?

It mainly depends on the breed. There are early maturing breeds and breeds that are slow to mature.
Delawares, Fayoumis, Plymouth Rocks, Catalanas, Anconas, Penedesencas may start around 12 weeks or so.
Jaerhons may crow at 5 weeks of age while Cochins, JGs, Yokohamas, Sultans, Langshans, LaFleche and Brahmas may wait till they're 20 weeks.
