What am I cooking tonight?

google monkey bread for alot of easy ways to make it.
I use three tubes of dinner rolls from Aldi's grocery (.25 per tube)

Mix & melt 1 cup brown sugar, 1 stick of melted butter or margarine, 2 tbls of vanilla.
cut/tear the rolls each into four pieces, lay in bunt pan (spray with PAM beforehand)
once all roll pieces are layed in the bunt pan, pour the melted mix over it and bake in 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
when taken out let it cool for 20-30 minutes then invert the pan onto a plate and stand back....hands will fight to get to this pull-apart snack!!

tonight I am making Spaghetti Bolognese........folowed by continental apple tart ......cream (yum)......

Red wine with the spag ......

Fresh crusty bread rolls (from the shop - opps! sorry Miss P and Lady jane)

Maybe some cheese and bisquits afterwards, if I can stand up!...

(nibbles - garlic stuffed and pimento stuffed olives......I LOVE them)

Monkey bread is a family favorite here. Fun to make with the kids- even more fun to eat

eta: English Chick- whoever came up with the idea of stuffing an olive with a clove of garlic deserves a medal!

I made some Sally Lunn bread today (or is it Lund?). Tasty with red meat and also with butter and honey. First bread I've baked from scratch in months.
