Mink, marten, ferret, skunk, weasel, they’re all related and would wreak havoc in your coop if given the chance. I’m glad it’s secure. Hard to tell actual size, but it looks too big to be a weasel.

Looks like an American Marten.

Pine marten is mostly in the high peaks of the Adirondack mts, so I'm going with young fisher cat. Seen lots of them in my area.

My elevation in MI is 1200-1600 ft above sea level. I see pine marten all the time. very common here.
