Don't know what they are called but we have them, a lot, here in KY in the fall of the year.

Just look at those beady eyes and fangs..he was just waiting for you to be off guard, then WHAM! He jumps on you...wraps you in a web and injects you with his venom and eats you alive... piece by piece...
they freak me out so much!

I'm terrified of spiders; don't hate them. It's not their fault they are creepy or when they are hungry or threatened and bite you as a defense. It's just natural. But they are sooo creepy!!!

But that spider is very pretty...and creepy!

They aren't a problem with me, it's another story with the wife and kids. There as exceptions, like when we are hiking, and it seems the trail is cover/blocked by endless amounts of webs.
