I have a Silkie who loves everybody except me. He adores my daughter, and will absolutely purr in her lap. He approaches pretty much everyone in the world for treats ... except me. Once I have hold of him, he's as docile as a sleeping kitten ... but if I drop my guard in the run, he's on me like flies on stink ... and he's out for blood!
I can't say that I really blame him, though. As a tiny peep, and the only survivor of a very poorly shipped batch of chicks (heartbreaking!,) he had a long and particularly awful bout with pasty butt. I had to be the Mean Mommy and treat him, or we would have lost him, too. Even being as gentle as I could, every time I picked him up, I hurt him. Then DD would take him for snuggles and treats. He has never forgiven me ... and I don't think he ever will!

Any idea what the breed of the bottom one in the last pic is ? In assuming another barnyard mix. It has a pea comb and mohawk
