What am I.....

Yes I have seen my pure india blue , get the yellow tint when fed corn... nothing like a green. Yes thats a spalding, trouble with spalding even in the same batch hatch from a pr. one may take after the green more ,and other take more after the blue.

yep the most obvious one of mine that's doing is is a free ranged blue white eye. I just throw corn out for the free rangers (turkeys and chickens, this peacock belongs to some one else, just showed up and wont go away) but being on all corn he's really yellow faced this fall, and no spaulding in him either...

that does make sence. I believe he was on mostly grains from fields, corn, beans, ect.
He has been free range 90% of his life. The yellow is fairly light also.

Yes it would be fun to have a peafowl show up and stay because you would then have a free peafowl!

@Boggy Bottom Bantams: That is some luck to not only have a peafowl stay at your place but for it to be a white eye! That would be cool to have one of the more interesting varieties just show up and take residence on your place.

Yep, that was pretty cool.
I was out turkey hunting one morning this spring, came home and saw him. Intantly said oh heck, the peafowl are out (I never free fange them due to all the predators here)
Walked right up to him though, very tame, then saw the train full of white eyes, said welp, that aint mione! LOL

Turned out, he belonged to some folks almost 7 miles a way, we just recently found out. They just said keep him, so I gladly excepted, not argument there...

@ TerriLaChicks,
he is a spaulding India Blue bs., no doubt there, that tigher crest is a give away for sure, and the color is a touch green, but yep, that corn will do it for sure to any of them, as far as yellowing the face goes.
