Ok, here's our story.....

We purchased 6 chickens (hens) from Meyer hatchery in April.... 2 golden buffs, 2 dominiques, 2 columbian wyandottes. Turns out that the 2 columbian wyandottes were roosters and we needed to replace them. We were lucky enought to find them a new home locally as we are not allowed to have roosters.

Now we noticed the our two dominiques may both not be dominiques at all.... or even hens?? I'm guessing this is NOT a Dom because of the single comb? Also, is it a roo?? They are 3 1/2 months old...

Can you get some side shots, of feathering? Hackle and Saddle...looks rooish to me also, maybe BR? Need more pics to be sure.

Barred rock roo. That comb is huge and red.. my 12 week roo doesnt even have a comb like that yet.

Yes this looks exactly like my BR. I too think this is a pullet. I personally love them!!!
