Brightly colored pheasants make me shudder.

So do rabbits.

No issue with either of those here. I'm just getting Hubby to 'relate' with our normal pets. Where he grew up, 'concept of dog' was better than 'dog' (I couldn't make it up, he says it often). He won't look at the rescue 'possum and squirrell babies.
None of his parents were animal people ---- BUT NEITHER WERE MINE (MY PARENTS FREAKED OUT ABOUT A HAMSTER)
--- and in my case it wasn't actually 'a' hamster, it was a breeder trio and they bred in the walls for several years..., but that's beside the point...

I'll jump in with pigs creeping me out, but it's really only adult pigs. Piglets I'm fine with.
Centipedes, weird looking insects in general, creepy crawly things I don't know the name of. Spiders I'm ok with if I know where they are and what they are doing.
Moose downright scare me.

House centipedes. There's one in the sink from yesterday. Neither of the guys will get it out, and, really, I'd rather be a slob and let the water and dishes ferment in the sink than to go near it. I've been using the bathroom sink for any water needs.

Ostrichs and Emus,...any LARGE bird for that matter (parrots, etc.,.). Everytime I see an ostrich I think "velociraptor!" My son loved dinosaurs as a child, and I watched Jurassic Park one too many times,..

The scenes where they are being chased by those things!!!,..Ughhhhh!

Just watch a bunch of nature shows about the deep sea or crazy wooded Amazon type forests around the world and you'll see a whole slew of creepies! For this reason I think we should be limited to pick animals that we live with or near and would actually come into contact with!

What is worse is that we find albino ones from time to time that have been underground their whole lives and are almost translucent. BLAH
