Brightly colored pheasants make me shudder.
So do rabbits.
No issue with either of those here. I'm just getting Hubby to 'relate' with our normal pets. Where he grew up, 'concept of dog' was better than 'dog' (I couldn't make it up, he says it often). He won't look at the rescue 'possum and squirrell babies.
None of his parents were animal people ---- BUT NEITHER WERE MINE (MY PARENTS FREAKED OUT ABOUT A HAMSTER)
--- and in my case it wasn't actually 'a' hamster, it was a breeder trio and they bred in the walls for several years..., but that's beside the point...
