okay, to be fair, not all teenagers and not all the time, and 'creep out' is not exactly the correct term... 'scare.'... and only because we want your lives to turn out well, for you to be safe and happy... and study your math BEFORE the exam...and just stuff that won't keep us awake at night gnawing holes into our stomachs with concern and worry. I recant my agreement to teenagers and put it back on slugs and flat worms.

Byc has some of the best teenagers around.

From a short story for young adults...book called Thirteen. *shudder*

Sounds like my kind of book, LOL. Who's the author, so I can google it?

Thirteen--collection of short stories. Maybe compiled by RL Stien?

I have been chased, attacked, bitten by this breed only.

First time: My uncle gave me a puppy to hold that had been born 4 weeks before. The mother was calm and collected. I touched the puppy she started snarling and growling and bit my face just above my eyeball.

Second time: A dog named Blue, a male, was brought over and lived next door. He was perfectly fine with HIS family. I'd take a step outside of my own door (I was 7) and would be face-to-face with that monster devil-dog. He would snarl, growl, give me "the stare" and would jump at me while snarling, growling and drooling. When my parents went out, he was a sweety. I would take a step out and he'd turn into devil-dog. My parents didn't believe that I was telling them the truth about the dog attacking me everytime I went outside. I was actually forced to climb a tree to get away from him.

One night, I came back from sledding. It was dark but you could see perfectly thanks to the snow on the ground. I was walking up my driveway and Blue came charging, snarling and growling at me. I screamed for my Mom while the dog stood there growling and barking at me. I'd try to take a step and he'd jump at me and give me the stare. My mom eventually came outside and saw what was happening and got him away from me. That was the last time I ever saw Blue.

Third time: Australian Shepherd mix bit me not two weeks ago. Bit me 3 times....

I am NOT a fan.

Bats. I love all creatures, but I can't be near bats anymore. They got in our cabin in the night when I was 10. I woke up to a few of them not being able to find their way back out and being a critter lover and rescuer already I got up to help them. I got a broom since they seemed to be trying to find somehting to settle on and sure enough when I held it up near them 2 out of the 3 did go onto it. I started walking slowly to the window that was open, I assume they came in that way, and one flew out, but the one left behind was circling madly in the main room, and then the one still on the broom flew off right into my hair. Ya, got tangled in my long hair and I grabbed at it to try and pull it out, things got worse. I dropped the broom, it hit me in the face, I screamed, woke everyone up, parents running to see what was going on, by then me in nightgown trying to run away tripping over broom, sprawling on floor.

Ya, it all replays in my head at having to deal with bats. I have educated myself about the good they do, and attended lectures where biologists have them on display and I accept them, just don't make me deal directly with them. I ***loose it*** if they get too close. I'll never forget the rubber sticky texture and the flapping, tangling moves or the fear of them biting me. Even at that age I knew they were vectors for disease and infection.

I don't mind bats. Hate spiders, blackflies, and generally any bug that bite or looks like it bites. I have a mild fear of horses.

Rodents dont bother me (look at my avatar) we have 3 now, one beige and white and 2 hairless ones lol

AAAHHHHH! MOMMY HELP! LOL
