What are Musk Ducks?

Pygmy geese (there are 3 species) are taxonomically grouped with the perching ducks (wood ducks, mandarins, Brazilian teal, etc). Shows that the names teal, duck, and goose really don't tell much about the taxonomy of the bird.

Amen Clint. Also yall be careful about googleing "pygmy Geese". I cant remember which number it is that has all the worms ,trojons and viruses. But if you dont have great computer protection. Its very nasty. Just a heads up. Maybe someone more computer savvy can tell you better how to avoid this one.

You'll know Trust me. If you have a protected computer it will shout virus alerts worm alerts. If unprotected lets just say it would be ugly. Wait for someone thats positive they have a great firewall etc. and maybe they can at least tell you which one it is or what iit says. Im sorry I cant remember. And I been there done that and aint chancein it again . Anybody want to help on this one?

Musk Ducks are native to Australia. They are a diving duck and don't spend much time on land. You'd need a very specialised setup to keep them happy, IMO. They sit really low in the water. The males are quite primitive looking. I've seen them in ponds in parkland in Sydney. They also live in Canberra, where I live, but I haven't seen them here myself.
