Welcome to BYC!
Well, what did you pay for them?
That's what they are worth to you.
As far as selling them, depends on what your buyers are willing to pay.

Ok I just did not know if there was a usual range they go for.

Where did you get yours....and what did you pay for them?
Would love to see some pics of them....never heard of them before.

I am not sure what an Opal Legbar is worth, I see cream Legbars for $18 a chick with the hatcheries I get my birds from.

I did a google search and found 6 eggs for $75, how much did you buy your for and how old are they now?

How old are they will strongly influence it. Point of lay birds should bring more than old hens or baby chicks. Recently I bought 5 laying hens for $5.00 a piece. I think I got a pretty good deal.

I would try selling for $10.00 and see if you get takers. If people jump on that, raise your price a bit, if no one bites, then lower to $8.00.

It is depends on supply and demand. Some people want a particular bird and breed, others, just want something in their flock.

Breed influences the price too. Opal legbars seem to be pretty rare, I could only find eggs for sale and it was $12.50 per egg, I would assume a POL Opal Legbar would be worth a lot more than 5 or 10 bucks.
