My son loves holding all the chickens and cuddling with them. I think it is a good time to give them a few tasty treats while he has them. But they don't seem to like anything I've offered. I have tried peanuts, grapes, watermelon and even cooked potatoes. They refuse to eat anything. Any ideas on treats they won't be able to resist?

here is the byc offical treat page hope it helps my hens seem to love lettuce and potatoes also veg. Here u go

Let's all say Hey, it's Spagetti!

My RIRs love spagettii and meat sauce, especially if it has diced tomotoes in it. ALL Gone in Minutes.

My chickens personal favorites: chopped hard boiled egg, birdseed, corn on the cob, yogurt, wheat bread, leftover veggies from dinner, spaghetti, watermelon, that's just to name a few!

mine LOVE the hop clover weed, and squash (cut up real small) and the seeds of any squashes, and cottage cheese! They're not big on lettuce. Oh yeah, corn on the cob too!

Bread, pasta, watermelon, cantaloupe (even the part with the seeds), strawberries, plums, nectarines, cucumbers, cheese, parsley (I chop it up for them) and catapillars. (I pick them off my fruit trees in the spring)

I gave them a fig yesterday and they looked at it like it was a foreign object.
