I have 8 chicks and 6 are maybe... probably.... most likely cockerels lol. Im still trying to hold on to a little hope that somehow they all just developed too early lol. Im also suspecting I have a 7th that is a cockerel as well. Anyway I have to find these boys a home before they possibly turn on me. I also bought some more chicks because I have to let these go. My favorite tries to peck me now if I get too close to his friends. I'd hate to see what happens when those hormones start surging. What breed do yall think they are? They all range between 2 to 3 months. I'm posting all 8 because majority aren't what I was told they were lol. I'm interested in your thoughts. 20200615_113011.jpg 20200615_113819.jpg 20200615_113917.jpg 20200615_113939.jpg 20200615_114038.jpg 20200615_115253.jpg 20200615_115333.jpg 20200615_115357.jpg 20200615_115434.jpg 20200615_115558.jpg 20200615_115632.jpg

1. Marans cockerel
2. RIR cockerel
3. possibly Jersey Giant pullet (are her foot soles really yellow?)
4. possibly Jersey Giant cockerel (same as above?)
5. pullet, any idea what hatchery?
6. cockerel, maybe olive egger or production blue hybrid
7. barred Rock cockerel
8. going by build maybe Welsummer or partridge Rock cockerel, or brown Leghorn if the earlobes are white

3 and five look like the only pullets. The black ones could be Australorps. How many roosters?!
We have 6 cockerels (1,2,4,6,7 and 8), 3 looks like a pullet but can hold her own with the cockerels so I don't know, and 5 we know is a pullet she is usually being protected by someone at all times.

3. soles are very yellow
4. soles are more tan/pink
5. Someone we know went and picked them up locally from the person that gives them their birds. They gave us the "pullets" they had left. Only one we know they got right was the Rhode Island Red but it ended up being a cockerel and not a pullet like they said.
