what are the breeds of this hens and when will they lay

Some sort of game bantam mix? The top hen looks like she has some longtail genetics perhaps.

Judging from their faces they will lay soon, but given their physical type they won't lay much, I expect. If you want regular eggs you'd need to get breeds known for that trait.

Since I don't know for sure what they are there's a chance they may be good layers, time will tell. However the bottom pic hen I strongly doubt will ever be a decent layer. She's physically very fine and small.

They both look like gamebird mixes to me. Depending on their age, they should begin laying soon. Don't expect a ton of eggs from them, though--gamebirds were not bred for egg production.

Game bird mixes. Should be laying probably in a month or so, though I'm not sure on their age.
