Other than chicken coops, I haven't mucked a stall in ages. Hopefully it will be that long before i have to do that again! It was all part of any days work when I had cattle and horses. Used to have fun riding horses and getting thrown from bulls (occasionally), but boy am I paying for it these days.
I used to be young, dumb, and full of spunk!

I haven't had a rodeo myself in quite a while. Never a bull, but some crazy horses. Did dude rides for a while, the people were crazier than the craziest horses! They tipped good though. Lol. Moved a lot of cattle at that same ranch. Fun times!

Now, theres a training barn on the property I live on, I work up there for fun cleaning stalls and playing with horses. Get to enjoy the fun stuff, without the cost of the not so fun stuff.

I hope no one's GPS sends them to the monkey section of OUR local zoo ... else everyone would end up on my doorstep!

That's the way to do it! Volunteer and have some fun doing what is fun.

Cutting horns, vaccinations, fixing fences, catching strays, cutting bulls into steers, yep, fun.
Not!!!

I had fun to begin with till the job got to be a job.

Just because a bird is rare doesn't necessarily mean you can sell them for a fortune. I have critically endangered Nankins ... and the market is VERY small for them. Most people looking for chickens want birds with high meat and/or egg potential, and most of the rare breeds don't qualify as either. It's a good thing I love my Nannies, 'cause if I had to depend on their paying my bills, we'd ALL starve!

I'm not sure I can poop on command so I might not have the ammo to participate? Unless poo sharing is allowed...I assume you groom first and fling second. The reverse might get messy and defeat the purpose of grooming.

You got to be careful in my chicken house! They are as bad as monkeys. They will projectile $hit at you! A literal $hit Storm!
I had one spray me from over 6 feet away once!
