She's been pecked on and broke the skin open a couple of times and made to bleed, and then these showed up after the wound healed. The wounds healed smooth and gone, with just a slight pink scaring. They don't appear to hurt her but they're awful and ugly looking. there's 2 large ones as seen and one above the eye .None of the other turkies who's had their heads pecked till bleeding have them, so well least not that I know of, so I don't think it's related, per say. Though the center does look a little like a scab

try this hopefully it works this time.

you should be able to:( I checked the link and it worked fine for me. are you seeing the img tags I replaced or the direct link?

how else can I get the pics of for every one to see if photobucket links are not working?

No, my dad's just left them alone, he thinks they're cancers and nothing he can do about them.

So if they're scabs why is the fleshy pink part all blown up?
I can see the pics and the scabs look like they are slow healing.

Have you put any antibiotic ointment on them?

Is it POSSIBLE that these are the same thing as Bumblefoot? Like a staph infection? Someone with more experience on Bumblefoot please comment. It looks an awful lot like when one of my girls had it..... Hmmmmm....

except that bumblefoot is on the foot and this is her head, but it could be an infection perhaps. They're super old. and they don't seem to get any better.

ive been studing bumble foot and read that it can move to other parts of the body.so im thinking the staph infection could enter an open wound.ive never saw it anywhere but the foot though
