what are these? warts?

i have a 3 mon old turkey and it is has a knot on it's beak that looks like a large wart. does anyone know what this is?
also the other turkeys are losing there feathers off there heads and have nodules cn the tops of there heads is this normal??? thanks angie

Can you post a pic of the so called wart? Turkeys as they mature will lose the fluff off their heads and get lumps and bumps of skin colored texture. A lump on the beak could be a sign of oncoming Pox, or just an injury. i would isolate the one in question until your sure.
