What are they doing????

Currently have 19 4 and a half week old Coturnix Quail, still in broader until they'll be separated and put into their pens tomorrow.

Every so often one of the males will 'crow' and they all instantly start running like total loonies.

What on earth are they doing?

Acting like quail.
Almost anything will startle them causing a freakout.

They are definitely the most flighty things Ive ever seen, when they were smaller theyd be fine and it is almost always suddeny things. Once Im with them they are fine and can pick them up no problem
