Well, everybody with muffs is an EE (a gorgeous mutt who will possibly lay blue or green eggs). The first chick- def. a boy.
Your white one is an EE, I'm leaning toward hen.
The black one with copper neck feathers is a Sex Link, probably hen, and your other black one is most likely a roo.
Your lightest brown one is probably a hen
a very pretty hen! and I dunno the sex of the other browns, but they're probably Rhode Island Red crosses.
Do you know what breeds your neighbor has? That would help up figure out the crosses.
I feel very comfortable in saying you have 5 pullets and 2 EE roos. Pullets are some version or some portion of the following: 1 black EE, 1 black sex link, 2 red sex link, and 1 failry RIR looking or production red. nice looking bunch and a lucky portion of pullets.
First off Beautiful birds! I do agree with many they look like crosses. I just recived EEs Dec. 3rd so not experience there. The white with green legs is crazy never seen it before. But I have read a lot and EEs and Amerecans can have muffs/or no muffs and can lay blue/green eggs but don't always because it is a certain gene that has to show. Guessing does not help but I would consider them all EEs. From the pics I can't see any roos.
