What are we?

I picked up these three a little over a month ago from a lady who had to liquidate her newly acquired flock. Inara and Zoe are about 6 weeks old, Kaylee is closer to five. I was told Zoe was a black sex-link, and that Kaylee was a buff Orpington but that does not look right. Any clues as to what Kaylee and Inara are? Thanks for all the help!

Zoe is a black sex-link and it looks like Kaylee is a speckled sussex.

Lucky you, you have a hatchery RIR (or production red but looks RIR to me), a pretty Speckled Sussex (I love them) and a Black Sex Link! All three are great hens!

Then Inara is the speckled sussex, and I don't know the other one.

Yep, going with the consensus here... 1st is a production red, 2nd a speckled Sussex, and 3rd a black sex link.

My best friend got me hooked on Firefly last summer. I also think RIR, SS, and BSL.

I think Kaylee might be a Kyle.... And he or she is as a previous poster said a speckled sussex.

Kaylee is the RIR, Inara is the speckled sussex.....IF the gender is in question (don't ask me, I'm not good at guessing) you might have to switch his name Jayne, Mal or Wash
