At a buffet, you control how much you eat even more so then when they bring food to you, you get to pick exactly how much goes on your plate! Plus, I like to see food before I get it.

At the same time though, I don't prefer buffets

Sit me down at a nice place, have someone bring my food to me, fill up my cup for me, and I'll pay AFTER I eat.
 
I'm not so much the fan of buffets. I find they are greasy and not so fresh like sometimes. I prefer quality over quanity. Dim sum is great though! And you get to see the food first, and pay after :p
 
Me and DH are going to Johnson's Farmers Market for breakfast. It a country buffet. Biscuits and gravy. I'm drooling. It's GREAT!!! And it's 2.5 miles from us.
 
I had leftover piece of cake and a glass of milk(is cake the new wheaties?) isn't that the breakfast of champions?

I would say I'll meet you there, but by the time I get there dinner would be over. Busciuts and gravy sounds good about now

On the subject of buffets, I enjoy the chinese buffet where you actually put everything you want and they stir fry it right in front of you. You choose how much sauce/spice/oil kind of good you somewhat control what you eat
 
Venison steaks, house salad, and whooooo knows LOL. All I know is I dont have any Venison left in the freezer so Im just counting down the days till archery season. Hopefully I will get a turkey to for thanksgiving dinner.

Tonight is Mexican food and margaritas! Today is my birthday (and my twin) we keep turning 21!

We’re going out to celebrate with friends and family.
 
Well....yesterday I picked some beets from the garden. I also picked some tomatos..and cucumbers and green beans....A friend gave us about 25 pounds of potatos with LOTS of new potatos. So, yesterday, I cooked the beets....added a little vinegar and sugar...and chilled them. Then boiled a few fresh eggs, and peeled them and plopped then in with the beets. The green beans and bacon cook slow all night, then today I added the taters. DH put a few steaks on the grill....so Dinner was...

Pickled beets with hard boiled eggs.

Green beans and new potatos.

Sliced tomato, cucumber, and onion.

Grillled steaks

And a BIG OLD GLASS of cold sun tea.

Bless us Oh LORD, these gifts!!
