What are you baking now?

Jen - you need to try out this method and recipe. It is the best bread we have had in a long time. I taught my husband how to make it since he is getting to leave for work out of town for three months and wants to make his own while he's gone. Super easy and results are great every time. The second link is his YouTube showing how he does it.

That's so cool! I'll have to try that too!

Jen, I was wondering if you'd tried it. It looked like the crust was just a little off. Figured it would probably taste just fine.

Baking cookies for the senior dance on Friday. More pineapple cookies, some Anisette cookies (almond merengue cookies) and some lemon cookies with white chocolate chips.

Thanks... yep thats all that is wrong with it and really its not that bad if you like a crunchy crust and sometimes I do, its a nice chewy bread and I like that too. The slices will make some great garlic cheese toast for dinner tomorrow

Have some regular bread doing its thing as I type this and want to try his Rye bread this weekend. Last weekend we went to this kind of funky flee market and picked a crock pot liner for 25 cents so I can make more than one loaf at a time.

Just knocked out 6 dozen biscotti.... vanilla, orange/cranberry and double chocolate. Its so hot in this house and I have canning to do next.

I made some choc. chip oatmeal cookies. Was baking a loaf of bread to take to a new mom last night. Needless to say, I was very sleepy and I fell asleep. I didn't hear the timer going off. The bread was baked 30 minutes past it's regular bake time. No good. The chickens didn't mind. And the new mom was gone today anyways so I couldn't drop it off.

maggiemoos -- off topic, but your grout is so pretty and white. My floors are supposted to have white grout, but after three years and many cleaning products later (and frustration!), they aren't anymore. Do you have a secret cleaner?

cinnamon rolls with peanut butter cream cheese icing yesterday, do the dough in the bread machine, its a life saver to me. thinking of trying some dinner rolls for supper one of these nights. Got fresh peaches from my uncle today, im going to work on freezing them some diced (my son likes "milkshakes" smoothies) and some sliced so of course a peach cobbler will go in too.
