Could you share the recipe?

Yes, Please! That looks like so much fun!

Well, I'm terribly old-fashioned, and spoiled, so I make my cakes from scratch, BUT-
you can use a box cake if you wish.
Just bake a chocolate layer cake, put a layer of cherries (pie filling which I make from scratch, but you can use canned ;o) remember I'm old fashioned and spoiled! )

between the two cake layers. Make (or buy if you insist LOL) vanilla frosting, pipe it on top of the cake to make it look like spaghetti. Take some cherry pie filling and put it in the blender and puree it. Pour some on top of the "spaghetti". For the meatballs (I DID use a mix for this) make a batch of brownies. When they are cool cut them into squares, then just kinda squish them up to make them look like meatballs, and put them on top of ------your SPAGHETTI CAKE !!!!
Simple and FUN! oH, and DELISH TOO

We're having a pot luck at my office tomorrow and I'm going to try this new dessert recipe:

TWIX CHEESECAKE PIE

With an electric mixer beat 2 8-oz bars of cream cheese (room temp)
with 1/2 Cup sugar and 2 LRG eggs. Mix in 16 chopped Twix Fun Size Bars
(16 grams each; 2 Cups total); pour into an 8-in Chocolate cookie piecrust.
Bake at 325 F until set, 40 - 45 minutes; cool. Sprinkle with 6 chopped
Twix bars and chill until firm.

Will let you know if it tastes as sweet as it sounds!

Twix cheesecake sounds yummy. I am getting ready to bake a batch of spice apple muffins for my DS to take as snacks for preschool tomorrow.

I hadn't made these in forever and forgot how good they are. I will post the recipe.

Spice Apple Muffins

1/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
2/3 cup milk
1 1/2 cups flour
1 TBSP baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup finely chopped apple

topping
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup chopped nuts, I used pecans
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg. Add flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and milk. Fold in apples. Fill muffin cups half way full top with brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon mixture. Bake at 375 for 20 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.

ETA, please ignore the ugly old muffin pan and yes there is one missing. I had to make sure they were decent enough for 4 year olds.
