I just wanted to say that a few pages back..(i cant find it now though..

), someone posted a recipe for butterfinger candy bars using candy corn and peanut butter..
Well, i made them this Christmas and they were a huge hit, they REALLY do taste like a butterfinger candy bar!

So I tried to make some bavarain creme doughnuts in my new deep fat fryer...

My doughnuts were HEAVY and my bavarain creme was lumpy AND not right taste wise...

Anybody have suggestions for either - - - doughnut batter OR bavarian creme ? ? ?
 
Tonight I was trying a new sourdough bread recipe. Went in to check near the end of the baking time and.....hmmmmm.......is that odd smell the bread??? Noooooo......it was the smell of a smoldering pot holder. I had left it on the rack when I preheated the oven just a minute then set the bowl of dough to rise on top of........yep! the pot holder. I didn't see it still on the oven rack when I put the loaves in to bake at 375. But....the bread taste yummy!
