My extended family (parents, brother, aunts, uncles, and cousins) all left me to go on vacation. My husband is also gone at FT Pickett for annual training. When I get left alone, I eat. I've restrained myself somewhat so far.
I apologize to those of you dieting.

The house smells so wonderful!

I make this when I have over ripe bananas. I slice it up and freeze it and then toast it in the mornings for breakfast.

I've made an Angel food cake and a peach cobbler so far. Next up is lemon curd to go with the Angel food cake. We're going to my mom's for dinner, so thankfully, it will get gobbled up!

Everybody I know is all of a sudden giving me their baseball bat sized zucchini because they know I make zucchini brownies. This is a good and a bad thing. Good because whenever I wanna switch days at work with someone, I just tell them that there is a pan of brownies in it for them! ( I usually have no problem after that! ) Bad because I have suddenly become gifted with all these zucchini and I can only shred them the old fashioned way, with a cheese grater while I watch the Olympics! Sigh! I am so sick of grating zucchini!
