Only using butter, not the 30 day diet...
I made your scones this morning and they were amazing! I changed it up a bit. I used dried cranberries instead of the chocolate chips and added a Tbs of orange zest. I didn't use a glaze, instead I brushed with an egg wash and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. So delicious! Thanks for sharingWow, it's been quite awhile since anyone posted on this thread. With glaze....the glaze makes these even better...I used milk instead of water though.

A fellow BYCr and friend has heritage pigs and butchered a couple. She had the butcher save the fat over the kidneys and I rendered it in a crock pot and then filtered it through cheese cloth. the little bits of left over meat made great chicken treats too.
I am making sure I am on her list for next time too....It is the most amazing stuff!
