I think I'm going to make the 10 egg pound cake. Last time, I used all of that yucky shortening and it was horrible, in my opinion but my family and friends devoured it. I will be using butter from now on.

3/4 c. oil
4 eggs
1/4 c brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Glaze

Pour 1/2 over cake as soon as it comes out of the oven. After cake cools, remove from pan to serving plate and spoon remaining glaze over cake. This is the step I take my time with. I actually use a basting brush, paint some....wait, paint some wait. I have even turned the cake upside down and painted and waited.
