My son baked me a chocolate expresso paleo cake with no grain flour no sugar for my birthday! It was yummy.


Hi Erinszoo, Could you please, please post the recipe? My brother is a diabetic and has allergies, so he can't eat to much sugar, certain flours, or to much dairy. Needless to say the desert I made for him on his birthday was barely edible. :rolleyes:

Sure but it will be tomorrow. I can private message you several different baked goods that are sugar and grain free. I found I have a knack for them, oddly enough. What flours can your brother not have?

Well, I called him and he said, sprouted wheat flour and any nut flour. Thank you ahead of time for the recipes, I know my brother will appriciate it and me too! :)
 
Today I made cracked wheat bread, this time using honey instead of molasses, 1/3 whole wheat, and 2/3 bread flour. I like to use the dried special baker's milk powder because it is processed at a high enough temperature that the enzyme and protein interactions that cause slack dough are eliminated and it kneads and rises better.
