What are you baking now?

I made an Orange Cake with Orange Curd and Cream Cheese icing. The other day I made a 'country' apple pie, the recipe called for cream in the apples. It was amazing as well as the egg crust I tried out of the same book. Crust was the best I have ever made or eaten.

OK - we NEED some recipes here!! The Orange Cake sounds delish! How much cream in with the apples??

Cindy

I'll third that vote for recipes. I have a really great recipe for lemon curd but orange sounds really good too.

Today was Redyre's 10 Egg Pound Cake. I didn't have the Pet milk and enough Crisco to make the other one. I'll let you know how it tastes after my husband comes home. I like to cook and bake the stuff, but I don't eat it. The other day I made chocolate Biscotti, with an AllRecipes recipe. Husband liked it, and I thought it looked just like what's in the store.

I made a rhubarb/apple crisp last night. I threw in some chopped walnuts with it and boy was it good!

Could you post the Redyre's recipe. I don't always have Crisco in the cabinet and would like to have an option to make without. Thanks

I added some Italian seasoning to the dough, smells good. I think I've FINALLY got this yeast thing... DONT MIX it in... just sprinkle it in. I've been mixing this whole time... so I think I was kinda killing my yeast. See if I do better today, it already seems better
