I apologize for not reading the whole thread .. but I have a question.
Just recently got interested in baking (while living in an apt with an electric oven) ..
We had a gas range/oven installed in our new house.
NOTHING comes out right now and I'm so frustrated. I did some research and learned that humidity is higher when you cook with gas, so it's almost impossible to get good crust on breads .. grrrrrr.
Anyway, what are some of your tricks for those of you that cook with gas ovens. I want that golden brown crust and sometimes you just want nice crispy "whatevers" ..
