of course you can.
you need:
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup sourcream
1 cup milk
1/2 cup oil (sunflower oil will be OK)
vanilla (sugar or essence)
grated lemon zest
3/4 cup cocoa
2 cups flour
2ts baking powder
put the first 7 ingredients into a bowl and beat them up with a mixer, for about 4-5 minutes. mix the dry ingredients together and add them little by little in the bowl, stir with a spoon. line a baking pan with baking paper and pour in the batter. bake it at 350F, until a toothpick come out clean if inserted into the cake. don't over-bake it!!!!
the glaze:
8oz chocolate
8oz heavy-cream
warm up the heavy-cream (don't boil it!!!!!) and add the chocolate. stir it. taste it and if you need, add sugar to taste. i say that because here i find some sweetened heavy-cream, i don't know what you have there.let it cool off and pour it over the cake.
if you keep this mix for a few hours in the cooler, you can beat it with a mixer and get a wonderful chocolate cream.
 
Going to be baking some italian bread rolls tonight. Have company coming over, and they actually want to pay me for a dz rolls so they can wow some people at their dinner party tomorrow! LOL

I gave her the recipe, and walked her through it... but she swears mine taste better, like way different!
