What are you canning now?

I am a stay at home mom and in addition to trying to keep the house cleaned, laundry done, and meals prepared...
We have:
100 chickens
30 meat rabbits
2 bottle calves
30 cows
do custom baling- square and round bales
1 son - age 4
1 daughter age 2
not to mention I am a student...AND I am the secretary/Treasurer for SWMATPA (Southwest Missouri Antique Tractor Pullers Assoc.) and we are super busy this time of the year!

hubby works 40+ hours a week-- 40hours a week for the County Road and Bridge dept and then does Heating and Air on the side (evenings and weekends)

I canned 4 half pints plus 1 quart of summer squash relish and it is soooooo good! Today I have a long to do list, But I am hoping to get some blueberry and strawberry raspberry jam made.

I know what you mean! We have been picking socks out of the dryer a pair at a time for the past 3 days

I gave that up almost a year ago - - LOL - - I have an Alzehimers parent living with us AND he is like a 2 year old as far as messes go.
They when he goes on a rant he complains about how dirty the house is.... to which EVERYONE in the family responds that he is the one that makes the messes !

That is what I do! I finally quit homeschooling, so I guess I might have to get more cleaning in. I'd rather work in the yard. The only thing I like less than house cleaning is having to paint something.
 
I made yogurt last night. And peeled and seeded about 50 pounds of heirloom tomatoes (strained the juice and put it back in with them). They filled my biggest pot entirely. I'll can them today after they've reduced more.
