They wont hold them for me though:( I have 1 hr from time of order to get them!..They told me to try and order online-They dont even register online:( So I gave up..back to square one I guess. I dont NEED any right now but would buy 10 cases in a heart beat at 1/2 off prices! ALL jars are 9-14$ per case up here

Went to another walmart & they have rollback signs by the mainstay & better homes garden jars. So should be a nationwide price. BHG pint $7 half pint $6.50. Don't remember the price on quarts. I bought the half pints since I never have enough jelly jars!!!!

aren't the better homes and gardens jars made in China though?

My better homes and gardens jars are made in china. DH bought them for me

I used them all and none of them broke. I did have a Kerr USA jar break though. The lid rings on my better homes jars started rusting after I put them through the dish washer. We're going to get just US jars from now on.

My favorite jars are the ones from family ran estate sales, I love walking out with cases of jars that have been sitting in someones garage for over 30 yrs. I can usually find some really neat ones, along with a mix of "repurposed ones".

I honestly didn't look at where they were made. Thanks for pointing it out. I never saw the mainstay ones before I found them the other day. I do like the shape of them better for large labels & crafts. I want to make some snowmen nightlights.

Spray paint jar white, add snowman face, 18" doll size fleece hat to go around the lid. Drill a hole in the seal, insert a nightlight kit... They are super cute. Seen penguins done too.

Plus lots of my regular mouth jars are used for chick feeders & waterers.

Im so jealous of green tomatillos!!!!! are they easy to grow?? Id love to garden some next year to get sone canned...

You start them like tomatos, maybe alittle later. Last year I was at Winco and saw the biggest one I've ever seen so I bought it and sliced it thin and dried it on top of the fridge. I broke the tomatillo leather into little chunks and planted them and had so many plants that I put them in front of my house with a free sign and gave away about 120 plants and still had too many. they were really large and I don't like to waste them, so now I am "the tomatillo guy". an added bonus is the chickens don't like them that much so I don't have to guard them. They are easy to grow but they sprawl out abit so I keep them tied up to a cyclone fence. It was an all day gig as the pressure cooker can do 8 pints at atime and with washing and prep you have to be home all day. They are still cooling on the counter. Kiwis are next as portland is getting close to freezing so it's time to move on things. I need more days off!!
