I wouldn't use a water bath for squash of any sort...it's a low acid food so it really needs the pressure as well as the heat to make sure it's safe.

I did up some tomatoes and am thawing out frozen ones to can up and make more room in the freezer.
Can anyone tell me how to take the seeds out of tomatoes? DW , who can't make sauce anyhow insists they make spaghetti sauce bitter. I say just toss in some baking soda but she's stubborn.
