I had them all frozen so the peeling was SUPER easy and no boiling, other than the cooking part of course. I do not have a cell phone to upload photos from so I will take some with my camera and when i go to the grocery store later tonight i will stop by a print shop and have them put onto a flash drive, look for my pics later tonight.
It did take me ALL day yesterday though........7 batches of 7 jars each.
The strawberry jam called to yield only 8 jars/ batch, but I ended up with 9/ batch.
Ugh what am I doing wrong with my strainer!!!??? We bought the same set up last month I believe...how did you use yours exactly? Please...i peeled 20+ ofnapples by hand and Im thinking ifnInwouldnhave just cored them cooked them down I could have ran them through thenstrainer to get peels out??
Mine were 1/2 pints. I posted on FB that I got those done last night and this morning I had 17 of them sold. Can't complain about that since those people also want EGGS!!!! LOLHAHAHA I don't think I ever did 49 in a day before! maybe it would have been 49 if I did all 1/2 pints or pints! I do ALOT of quarts! My goal is to use everything within one year, If I don't -I went over board-spent too much money on the things I couldn't grow myself or couldn't sell or give away enough as giftsI had 20 jars left over from last year--I still have a few of those?? I'll give them away or use them up shortly! I hope...I did promise Hubby no more canning unless its a cool day--I dont know why but I swear I chose the hottest days all Summer to do my canning for HOURS!!! LOL
You sell your goods on FB?? Wow...now that's a thought!

Yeah it works great. I never used to post anything about what I am doing, but one day I was proud of how much I got canned in one day and wanted to show my mom. My friends saw it and a lot of them asked if they could buy some, so I started doing that every time I had canned extra of anything and it almost always sells. Who knew...very true!
I work with about 100 people and post it to ALL staff..I list what Ive made every weekend and prices and I dont bring any in until requested to buy.
6$ for 1/2 pints and 8-10$ for full pints depending on what it is. I dont sell any quarts of anything
Oh and I sell 1/2 pint fresh pesto for 14$
facebook huh? I might have to try that with my friends! Then again "my friends" all can and got me into this really! haha
This is what I do. It all goes in the crock pot high to heat then low over night. I actual shut it off in the morning and them bring it back to a boil at night to can it up. Works really well and have done it for years.wish I could say yes, but I probably just flat over cooked it. I was waiting till it was thick IN the pot and I wonder if I should have been testing it on the plate...it'd probably thicken as it cools, right? Also, should I just have the fruit in the pot? When I did it before, I put all the sugar and spices in before I cooked it.
