What are you canning now?

Working on apple cider this week. Nothing better than fresh pressed.

We processed some extra roosters this weekend and I canned them. Got 8 quarts of chicken and 4 quarts of broth, going to take the ideas I learned here and fill up the rest of the space in the canner with some red beans for chili. If I'm sittting in front of the canner for 90 minutes, it's gotta be full!

I love that idea!! I'm going to keep some extra beans around so I can do the same thing. I absolutely hate running the canner when it's not full.

I did keep it but it's got a smoky nutty taste.

I'm soaking the pot in Vinegar. It's my favorite pot to use. I am so bummed.
