What are you canning now?

Lesa, Sure Jel has a recipe for rebatching unset jams and jellies. I've done it before and it worked well.
I think the recipe/directions are on their website.

Otherwise, you made some yummy strawberry sauce to serve over homemade ice cream. YUM!

Picked my first round of green beans last night- getting ready to can them today.-- doing them different so I hope they turn out okay.

Made strawberry jelly on Sunday evening--made 7 pints and it all SET! WHOO WHO- that was my first time attempting jelly and using the liquid pectin.

Will be making blueberry pie filling either later today or in the morning tomorrow. I don't know if I will have enough time today though.

before I used to only do blanched beans, salt and water (the way my momma taught me)

BUT this year I have been more experimental and trying to do things that are more accustomed to our tastes--

this batch has garlic, green onion, Cavenders greek seasoning (I put this on all veggies when I cook them anyway), salt, bacon fat, and green beans
