First canning of the season for me today.

Strawberry marmalade

I just happen to have strawberries in my freezer and Valencia oranges from my tree. I'm going to make some too.

I made 9 1/2 pints of strawberry preserves last night. (yes it is strawberry season here). Next on the list is strawberry jalapeno jam!

I can't wait for green beans! Last year I didn't make nearly enough of one of our favorite canning recipes, spicy asian ginger dilly beans. YUMMY!

Made 4 pints of strawberry jam and 4 pints of bumbleberry jam. I used 2 cups strawberries and a cup and a half each of blueberries and raspberries for the bumbleberry. It may be my new favorite. It's so good!

YES! I need this recipe too... I have easy 5-6 quarts of beans ready and I want something with more last then boring old green beans.
