What are you canning now?

It never ever occured to me that you could buy pre-cut coupons on ebay!!! Genious!! I hate cutting coupons, hate buying a paper just for the 3 coupons I might find useful, and hate wasting printer ink on the down loadable ones too! It cost me $2 w/free shipping for 40 coupons! That's my kind of deal!

When I remember to keep on top of using coupons (which is not often, lol) there are also places you can look online to see what coupons are out and what are coming out in the various sales fliers. Then, when you see something you want, you can go to one of the coupon cutting services (or, apparently, eBay) and buy just what you want in bulk... often for about how much it'd have cost to get one coupon from your local Sunday paper.

I used to be one of those serious couponers! Bill would be 700$ and cost me 200$ it was awesome ! Stores within 100 mile radius stopped doubling and everything ;(

You have to have some serious time to devote to that! I don't think any of the stores around her double coupons either, but I could be wrong.

I canned some dilly beans yesterday, never had them before and had plenty of beans to try something different :) Got 4 1/2 pints after trimming them all down. Had 1 cuke from the garden, which made me very happy. So I pickled that refrigerator style with the left over pickling brine. So excited for our next BBQ!

Well, this isn't directly canning related... but close.

Foodsaver.com is running a sale on all FoodSaver units right now. 50% off any unit + free shipping. It, apparently, even includes units that are already marked down. I just bought the "Master Chef" kit, normally $317, marked down to $183, for $91.50

I canned some tomato's last fall and added the lemon juice on the top than processed them. Now I haven't eaten any of them because the recipe said to put it on the bottom of the jar. Do you think they are still OK to eat or should I just be safe and toss them. I'm new to canning so thought Id ask everyone.
