Since it stopped raining today, and the weekend looks nice with more rain predicted for Monday... I'm continuing work on the coop (after a stop at Chick Day at the local Farm & Ranch supply).

Good question with the off and on rain. Was supposed to take DS to tee-ball but it was cancelled so we went to Agway for chicken wire to make our three week old chicks bigger brooders, then to the mall for new sneakers for him. Tomorrow should be:
9-10:30 soccer
12-2 selling plants at school fair
?-4 Farm day at local farm in Scotland CT. I've never made it yet!
If it rains all day, I have no idea what will happen. It's predicted to be one of those off and on drizzly days. Farm day will happen unless it's and out and out down pour.
Any free sunshiny moments will be spent helping to work on the new coop except for a trip to the grocery store for ingredients for German potato salad for Sunday:
Sunday am will be church followed by a potluck brunch. After that we are having a presentation on the early history of our church. We are beginning a year long celebration of our 175th anniversary. I'm presenting the calendar of events since I'm the cochair of the committee.
Sunday afternoon we are supposed to attend the birthday party of one of the 6th graders in the classroom where I work. Not sure we're going to make it. His garage band is going to play and I've already got a head ache anticipating that! LOL

We started with a trip to Home Depot today... working on the new breeder's coop with DH's help, and I believe a duck enclosure in anticipation of over a dozen ducklings joining us next week.

Also working on the business cards and flyers for upcoming sales.
Of course, the Nascar race will be included in there somewhere...

Mrs.AK-I miss the nascar races most of all, since we moved here in Dec.05' we don't have t.v, we just watch dvd's and videos. I don't even keep up with nascar online as it hurts too much not watching.

I am a little envious of everyone. I am home all week and usually am home all weekend working around the ranch. I love my life and what we do, but sometimes having a little more variety would be nice.

Sunday we will be trying to get the squirrel that has been invading the chicken food. I will also be making rice bags for mother's day. As well baking cookies for DD in Afghanistan.

Monica
