What are YOU getting for Mother's Day?

One of the bummers about being a single mom is buying your own Mother's day presents. But today is my DD's 10th B-day so we are going to Marine World tomorrow. I'll probably just buy a souvenir from there.

I picked myself out a lovely outfit. My little children were busy about my legs, had to hold one back with my foot while he was trying to examine the occupants next to us in the fitting room, and finally decided on one. To which they were both relieved, and my son said "You look butiful"....

I am getting from my dh hubby and kids (finally) the BLRW eggs that I have been looking for.....

I got my Calphalon pots and pans, now if I could have someone to cook for me, that would be perfect. Just kidding, I love my new pots and pans and they cook incredibly great. Oh, I also got some Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue fragrance, man it smells amazing. It does not really mix well with the cow poop and chicken poop smell on me when I come in from my chores.

My hubby is taking all 4 kids and his mom to the beach to stay the weekend at his brother's beach house.

My present is getting the house all to myself all alone for 2 whole days!! I mean SOMEONE had to stay home to feed the chickens, right?? May as well be ME!

I'm not sure which is worse - not having anybody to call or having daughters that "don't have time".

I like your idea about the balloons, but remember, once they pop they can be accidental hazards to birds and fish.
