I have informed my children to tell their father (when he asks them) that mommy wants a wheel barrow for Mother's Day. I will also probably get dinner out in a restaurant.
I THOUGHT I was getting some peace and quiet for M-day. Now it looks like my SIL can't get away from work soon enough on Friday to make it worthwhile to go, so my kids and DH have been postponed.
Alright, alright, I guess if I'm officially a mommy to my two-legged feathered lummoxes, maybe they'll give me a couple of eggs on Sunday. [trying to look on the bright side]
I don't know really, my husband is off that day, and he only gets Sundays off.
We will probably work on the coop, and in the garden, and knowing him, he may run to the store and surprise me with some flowers. Not the dead cut kind, he's never bought me those, he likes to get me flowers I can plant.
Well, I'll be working all week end.. The kids will be working on my coop! Dh is providing the materials, and his labor and the kids will be working as well. It's what I have asked for! But ds sent me two doz. tulips and a cut crystal vase, UPS delivered them today! First time he has ever sent me flowers, so it's special! Then when the coop is finished I will be getting chickens from dh!!!
My mother is no longer alive and my mother in law and I are not close..Happy Mother's Day... No matter if it's fur, feather, or human children...Dixie
My husband ordered something for me from Double R supply! I can't wait. I am hoping for a brooder, but I'll take anything chicken! My 15 year old bought me a three tier strawberry patch with strawberry's. Its the one in Gurney's catalog. It won't be here in time for Mother's day tho, I can't wait! I've been wanting to plant strawberries for a long long long time!
If you didn't see my other post this is what I got the DW.
Dot (Doe) is Lamancha/Boer and Shiver (weather) is a Saanan, she is also getting a Saanan yearling later this month cause I'm not quite done with the milking stand yet and she will need to be milked.
